メルセデス・ベンツ Mクラスとは？

メルセデス・ベンツMクラス(英語名:Mercedes-Benz M-Classe)は、ドイツの自動車メーカーダイムラー・クライスラー社がメルセデス・ベンツブランドで展開する乗用車の車種である。
現在発売されているMクラスは、2005年から販売されている5人乗りSUVである(オーストラリア仕様のみ7人乗りがある)。
メルセデス・ベンツでは、アウトドア関連の車種としてMクラスの他にメルセデス・ベンツ GLクラス GLクラスが存在し、派生車種としてメルセデス・ベンツ Rクラス Rクラスが存在する。
メルセデスベンツとしては始めてドイツ国外(アメリカ州タスカルーサ工場)で生産された。またモデル名は「ML350」のようにMLと名乗っているのはBMWのMシリーズと区別するためからだといわれている。
